I’m very excited to announce my first full length album has gone live, available first on Spotify and Soundcloud, and on Apple Music soon. Additionally, I’ve submitted the new album to Twitch’s Soundtrack program, as well as other curated platforms, for consideration for addition to their catalog. It’s this last that I’m most excited about, in part because of the origin of this album.
Titled Long Forms I, the album is a collection of pieces I wrote that are between five and seven minutes long. While the tracks span a range of themes and style, they tended to be more ambient, and the reason for this is that I wrote them primarily for my own use while working on artwork or science, ideally while live-streaming on Twitch. So, if I can manage to make it on Soundtrack, that ties everything together.
Some of the songs, like Sprinter are a little silly, inside jokes for my own benefit (listen at the end, and imagine being a sprinter at the end of a race when your legs aren’t keeping up anymore). Others are more evolving grooves. Still, give a listen, and see what you think.
